Jon L. Cash received his doctorate from Mississippi State University and joins the Bridgewater State University Department of Special Education. He will teach our graduate students in Applied Curriculum Development for Learners with Special Needs: PreK-8 (SPED 504), Curriculum Development for Learners with Severe Disabilities II (SPED 525) and Seminar in Special Education (SPED 550), as well as provide supervision to our student teachers. His research and scholarship areas focus on self-efficacy beliefs and the effectiveness of professional development, self-efficacy beliefs and the processing speed of children with disabilities, and autism. His favorite activities include reading, writing, watching Southeastern Conference sports and cooking.
