Bridgewater State University Non-Degree Student Checklist
This checklist is for students who have been permitted to attend Bridgewater State University as a non-degree student. If you wish to obtain a degree from Bridgewater State University, you must submit the appropriate application for admission to be considered a degree-seeking student for a future term. All new non-degree students at BSU will receive an email from "BSU Accounts" within 24 hours of processing of their non-degree application with details on how to access their user account. Your account will give you access to campus computers, your BSU email, the campus wireless network, and the student portal among other things. If you have any questions about accessing your account or do not receive the email after waiting 24 hours, please contact IT Support.at 508.531.2555 or ITSupport@bridgew.edu
Non-Degree students will register for courses through InfoBear.
Tutorials on how to register can be viewed under Registration Tools section of the Registrar's website. You can also view the registration schedule (when registration is open for graduate students). If you are part of an off-campus cohort, the registration process may be a little different. Email offcampus@bridgew.edu with any questions
Please access the registration system InfoBear using the link below. Use the Single Sign On (SSO) account login information that you receive from BSU Accounts.
You must complete the Student Financial Responsibility Agreement in InfoBear before you can register for any courses

Some courses may require a Prerequisite Override to allow you to register. You can submit an override request using the Prerequisite Override (Form)
*Prior to matriculation, students can enroll in up to six credits in most programs with 39 or fewer credits. In programs requiring 40 or more graduate credits, students may enroll in up to nine graduate credits as a graduate non-degree student.
Email is the official form of communication at Bridgewater State University. Please be sure to check your email account regularly. Please be sure to keep track of your personal information including your BEAR ID, PIN, Username and Email address. You will need to use these to access important online systems.
The Connect Card is the official Bridgewater State University identification card that can be used for library privileges, building access, and as a debit card on-campus and with participating off-campus merchants. In addition, all vehicles parked in student parking lots will need a parking decal.
