BSU’s master’s degree in clinical psychology balances a strong foundation in theory, research and assessment along with outstanding training in research-informed practice. Throughout your master’s degree in clinical psychology, you will take part in practicums and internships in which you will work with individuals experiencing a range of behavioral, cognitive and emotional challenges.

Housed within the Department of Psychology, our MPCAC-accredited clinical psychology degree prepares you for the Massachusetts mental health counselor licensure exam, which our most recent class of clinical psychology master’s degree students passed at a rate of 100%.

Experiential learning is a vital component of BSU’s master’s in clinical psychology. Throughout your six semesters, you will complete 100 hours of clinical practicums and 600 hours of internships, preparing you for a range of master’s in clinical psychology jobs.

Bridgewater State University’s Masters in Clinical Psychology program is accredited by the Masters in Psychology and Counseling Accreditation Council (MPCAC) for the period of February 2015 to February 2026.
