Residence Halls at BSU

Approximately 3,300 undergraduate students live on campus in 11 residence halls, which are differentiated by type of rooms and living arrangements and the class standing of residents. Most first-year students live in Shea and Durgin Halls.

Miles Hall

University Park (East Campus)
Miles Hall, a co-ed residence, houses upper-class students on four floors. Miles and DiNardo halls are mirror images of each other separated by a courtyard. Rooms are arranged as doubles and/or triples and share a common room. The hall is located on East Campus across the street from the Moakley Center and next to East Campus Commons, which is the nearest dining hall.

Crimson Hall, a co-ed residence, houses 408 upper-class students on five floors and features its own dining hall. Room styles consist of singles and doubles in a suite configuration. The most common suite configuration is two double rooms. The hall is located on East Campus behind DiNardo Hall.

This co-ed residence hall, houses 300 upper-class students on four floors. Room styles consist of singles and doubles in a suite configuration. The most common suite configuration is one double room with two single rooms. The hall is located on East Campus at the bottom of the Great Hill, next to East Campus Commons, which contains the closest dining hall.

Weygand Hall is a co-ed residence that houses 500 upper-class students on five floors. Room styles consist of singles and doubles in suite and pod configurations. The most common configuration is a four-bed suite. Weygand is home to the Upper-Class Residential Learning Communities. The hall is located on East Campus next to the Parking Garage and Stonehouse Hall. The Wellness Center, providing health and counseling services, is on the ground floor.

Scott Hall, a co-ed residence, houses 269 students, both first-year and upper-class students on five floors. Rooms are corridor style arranged in double and triple rooms. The hall is located on West Campus next to the Campus Center and across the street from Woodward Hall and the Boyden Quadrangle. The Flynn Dining Commons and the Bear's Den are located nearby.

Woodward Hall, a co-ed residence, houses 231 first-year students. Rooms are corridor style arranged in triple and quad rooms. This residence hall is located on West Campus next to Harrington Hall and across the street from Scott Hall and the Boyden Quadrangle. The Flynn Dining Commons and the Bear's Den are nearby.

Pope Hall, a co-ed residence, houses 336 first-year and upper-class students. Rooms are corridor style arranged in double and triple rooms. The hall is located on West Campus next to the Dana Mohler Faria Science and Mathematics Center and across the street from the Campus Center. The Flynn Dining Commons and the Bear's Den are nearby.

Great Hill Student Apartments

Upper Great Hill (East Campus)
The Great Hill Student Apartments, a co-ed living community, houses 198 upper-class residents. The community is located on the Great Hill, near the Adrian Tinsley Center. Students live in six-person units with shared kitchen, living room and bathroom facilities. Handicap accessible units are also available. The nearest dining room is the East Campus Commons. Students who are 21 and over are allowed to have limited amounts of alcohol.
