MTEL Preparation Courses
Bridgewater State University offers a variety of MTEL Prep courses throughout the year. Please review this page for a list of current courses, course registration, payment information and contact information for assistance.
HOW TO REGISTER
NOTE: Please read the instructions below carefully.
BSU Students (students currently enrolled in a BSU degree program)
The registration process is the same as registering for undergraduate courses. You will need your BEAR ID and credentials to register.BSU Students register for classes via myBSU. More +
Returning non-degree students: If you have enrolled in an undergraduate course at Bridgewater State University within the last 12 months you do not have to fill out a new application. You will need your BEAR ID and credentials to register. Register for classes via myBSU. More +
Students who have graduated from BSU or Individuals who have never taken a BSU course: You must complete a Continuing Studies Non-Credit Application to enroll in MTEL courses, post-graduation. Continuing Studies Non-Credit Application
Please note: Once you complete the application, it will take approximately 24 hours to activate your student account. You will receive an email with your BSU BEAR ID and credentials once you complete the application. You cannot register for courses or pay your bill until your student account is activated.
PAYMENT
Payment is due upon registration. To pay for your course or courses, please visit the BSU Student portal (mybsu.bridgew.edu/) and log in using your BEAR ID and credentials. Select "eBill" under the Quick Links menu. Your course will be dropped if payment is not received.
Room assignments and directions for each course will be emailed to your BSU student email several days prior to the start of the course.

For questions regarding program requirements, for example, which MTEL needs to be taken for which program, please contact the department chair for undergraduate or the College of Graduate Studies for any Master’s, PB or APB questions.
