BSU's new Childhood Studies online degree is an interdisciplinary program that focuses on childhood education, arts, humanities and the social sciences. Students prepare for career paths in public policy, social services, youth programming, academics, health care settings, the arts, and education.

This is the perfect program for a transfer student with credits in multiple areas of study. The Childhood Studies curriculum is composed of 33 total credits with a focus on children in relation to childhood identity and social institutions in children’s lives. The program also incorporates courses from a variety of disciplines, particularly the humanities, education and social science fields.

Simple admission process: The Continuing Studies application is streamlined and takes only a few minutes to complete. No essay required.

Transfer-friendly: We accept up to 69 credits from a two-year institution and up to 90 credits from a four-year institution whether you earned your credits three months ago or more than 30 years ago.

Financial Aid: BSU's online baccalaureate degree completion programs are accredited programs. Financial aid is available to individuals who qualify. 
 

Fully Accredited: Bridgewater State University is accredited by The New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE).
