Professor Caitlin Golden joined the Bridgewater faculty in 2012 and teaches accounting and finance courses in both the undergraduate and graduate business programs. Caitlin brings extensive professional experience to the classroom from her career in public accounting, where she provided audit and financial reporting services to both privately-held and publically-traded financial institutions and holding companies. Her audit clients included SEC engagements and financial institutions under Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation Improvement Act (FDICIA) and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) 404 reporting requirements. Caitlin also provided advisory services for initial public offerings and mergers and acquisitions. Throughout her time in public accounting, Caitlin also developed training materials and facilitated instruction of training sessions for senior and staff auditors.
Caitlin is a Certified Public Accountant, holds a Master's Degree in Accounting from Northeastern University and is currently pursuing her PhD in International Business with a concentration in Finance. Her research interests include international firm performance, corporate governance and internal controls.
