Bridgewater State University's early childhood education undergraduate degree and minor programs will provide you with the coursework and field experiences necessary to help you understand and teach children during their critical developmental years. From teacher licensure programs to early childhood education master’s programs, our Department of Elementary and Early Childhood Education has the education graduate programs to help you gain advanced skills in teaching children up to age 8.

Graduate Program Learning Outcomes

Our program outcomes are based upon the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE). Additional outcomes are based upon our accreditation organization, The Association of Childhood Education International (ACEI). Our program is nationally recognized through 2026 by meeting all ACEI Standards.
