Undergraduate Research
Faculty members in the Department of Sociology work closely with undergraduate sociology students in and outside of the classroom to help them complete original research. They have the opportunity to present their findings at student sociology conferences across the country. Students who undertake these ambitious projects gain critical insight into their chosen field, while demonstrating the independence and self-discipline that will prepare them for graduate and professional study as well as their future professions.
