Located in the Hunt Hall, Connect Card Services is the place to go for all things related to your BSU Connect Card, including flex dollars, dining dollars, swipes, and meal plans. If you need a new connect card, or have lost your card, Connect Card Services is here to help.

What is a Connect Card?

The Connect Card is BSU's official ID card, a multi-purpose system that can be used for library privileges, building access, as a meal ticket, and as a debit card.

As a debit card, funds may be used at all dining areas, vending machines, public copiers, the bookstore, purchasing stamps at the mailroom, and off-campus with participating merchants.

If you've lost your connect card, please contact us at 508.531.2897 to freeze your account. After business hours, use Connect Card Online.

Flex Dollars work just like a debit card that is usable at various locations on and off campus. Flex Dollars work dollar for dollar, therefore if you purchase 50 flex dollars you will be credited $50 on your Connect Card. Flex Dollars are usable at various locations across campus and carry over from year to year until you graduate or withdraw.

Students may purchase flex dollars via the following methods:

in person at Student Accounts
by mail with a check or credit card
by phone with a credit card by calling Student Accounts at (508) 531-1225,
online using the Connect Card Online with a credit card (MasterCard or VISA).

Students are able to view Flex Dollars, Dining Dollars and meal swipe balances on Connect Card Online or by calling the Parking Services and Connect Card Office at 508.531.2897. Reports showing all transactions may also be obtained by contacting the Parking Services and Connect Card Office. Dining hall receipts also list remaining Flex Dollars, Dining Dollars and meal swipes.

Meal plans are refundable in accordance with the meal plan refund policy.
Meal swipes expire at the end of each semester and are non-transferable.
Dining dollars will carry forward from fall to spring semester. All dining dollars expire at the end of the spring semester and do not carry over to the following fall semester.
Changes to meal plan selections must be submitted online prior to the fall deadline. Only one change is allowed per semester.

Dining Dollars are funds that are added to your Connect Card upon your purchase of a meal plan and are included in the cost. They can be used at all BSU dining locations, with the exception of Dunkin and expire at the end of the spring semester.

Flex Dollars are an optional cash alternative at BSU and are also loaded onto the Connect Card. Flex dollars can be used at all BSU dining locations, the BSU bookstore, printers, copiers, vending machines, and other needs on campus. Flex dollars remain on your account during your enrollment at BSU and carry over from year to year.

Meal swipes can be used at Flynn Dining and East Campus Commons (ECC).

Dining dollars can be used at all four dining locations including the on campus Dunkin, Starbucks, Starship robot delivery, Grubhub and Bear Bites food truck.
