The Net Price Calculator is a tool for students and parents to use to obtain an estimate of what it may cost to attend Bridgewater State University each year.
It is important to understand that this information is a broad estimate. When we award financial aid to students, we take many factors into consideration such as: deadlines, levels of funding and grade levels. The estimate that you receive with the Net Price Calculator applies only to full-time degree seeking undergraduate students. This estimate does not represent a final determination, or actual award, of financial assistance or a final net price. It is only an estimate based on price of attendance and financial aid provided to students. Price of attendance and financial aid availability change year to year.
To be considered for the maximum financial aid available, you should file your FAFSA or Renewal FAFSA with the Federal Processing Center AFTER January 1 but BEFORE MARCH 1. All applications received by the Federal Processing Center after MARCH 1 will be considered for financial aid awards on a funds available basis.
BSU's Title IV school code required to file the FAFSA is 002183-00.
It is also important to note that the Net Price Calculator does not take into consideration Federal Direct Stafford Loans that a student may be eligible for. Most students who file a FAFSA are eligible for a loan through the Federal Direct Lending Program. The loan amounts depend upon a student's grade level and dependency status. For more information about Federal Direct Stafford Loans, please visit the Federal Student Aid website.
The Net Price Calculator does not account for any merit scholarships.
