Family Orientation

Welcome to the BSU family!

While there is not a formal Family Orientation program for the start of the Spring 2025 semester, BSU recognizes the vital role that family and other members of our students’ support network play in their ongoing success. We are excited to partner with you and assist you in helping your BSU Bear successfully navigate their time at the university.

The Division for Student Life provides family members with a direct contact that can be utilized when they are trying to assist or advocate for their student. Justin McCauley, the Director of Family Relations and Divisional Communications can be reached at jmccauley@bridgew.edu or within the Student Life office in 106 Boyden Hall. If you are trying to help your student navigate an issue at BSU and do not know where to begin, you can reach him by calling 508.531.1276.

Creating a BSU Family Hub account on EngageBSU provides access for parents, family members and supporters of our currently enrolled students to have ongoing engagement with BSU. This experience will make it easier for families to stay informed through monthly newsletters and regularly posted information about campus services, resources, events, and more.

Please visit Family Hub on EngageBSU for more information on how to create a BSU Family Hub account.

The Crimson Resource is a virtual web-based program for family members and supporters of currently enrolled students. It is an opportunity for you to explore life at BSU and the resources available to support your student. You may also come back to it at any time when a question or need arises.

To access this program, you will need to create a BSU Family Hub account on EngageBSU.
