Catch up on your degree requirements or get ahead with BSU Summer Session. BSU offers a wide variety of courses instructed by high-quality faculty members. Summer classes are a great way to focus on a particular subject or class or to fulfill a core or general education requirement. Choose from hundreds of classes with options online, during the day or at night. 

Time for fun: Our convenient five-week sessions leave you plenty of time for summer fun. 

Our affordable cost is the same whether you live in-state or out-of-state.

Summer Session Two: Monday, 7/13 - Friday, 8/14

2026 Summer Session courses are available for viewing. 

2026 Summer Session Registration opens on Monday, March 16, 2026 for all students (BSU and non-degree).

BSU Students: Register for summer classes via myBSU student portal/Infobear. More +

Non-Degree Students (for undergraduate courses): Students who have not been admitted into a BSU degree program or who have never taken a BSU class must complete the Non-degree form (this includes students from another college or university who wish to take classes at BSU during the summer session, fall or  spring semesters or Winter Intersession). New Non-Degree students must complete the Non-Degree Student Application. More+

Returning Non-Degree Students: If you have enrolled in an undergraduate course at Bridgewater State University within the last 12 months you do not have to fill out a new application. Register via myBSU. More +

Non-Degree Students and course pre-requisites: If you are enrolling in a class that requires a pre-requisite, please send an unofficial transcript to the BSU Registrar's office via email (registration@bridgew.edu ) or fax it to 508-531-6101.

Non-Degree student requirements

Non-degree applicants for undergraduate courses must have a high school diploma or GED and must meet any prerequisites for the courses for which they wish to register. A non-degree student should be aware, however, that they are not eligible for financial aid or various other services provided for degree-seeking students.

2026 Summer Cost

To Be Determined - the university has not yet set the cost for summer courses. As a reference, in 2025 a three-credit course cost $1,239.75 (Web online courses cost an additional $75) and a four-credit course cost $1,653.00 (Web online courses cost an additional $100).

The cost is the same for in-state and out-of-state students.
 

Summer Bills & Payment Information

Summer bills will be available via eBill during the week of March 30, 2026, and will be due on Thursday, April 30, 2026. Payment in full or enrollment in the Summer Payment Plan is required by the April 30th deadline to prevent your summer courses from being dropped.

Students who register after April 30, 2026, will be required to make payment in full within two days of registration to remain enrolled.

The Summer Payment Plan, available only to BSU students, will be available when bills are released. Enrollment in the plan requires a $25.00 non refundable enrollment fee, due at the time of enrollment, along with a 25% down payment of your current balance. Scheduled installments are required and are due on May 15 and June 15.

Financial Aid

Non-degree students and course pre-requisites

If you are enrolling in a class that requires a pre-requisite, please send an unofficial transcript to the BSU Registrar's office via email (registration@bridgew.edu ) or fax (508-531-6101).

DO NOT SEND TRANSCRIPTS TO CONTINUING STUDIES FOR COURSE PRE-REQUISITES. TRANSCRIPTS MUST BE SENT TO THE REGISTRAR'S OFFICE. Sending transcripts to Continuing Studies will delay your ability to register for courses.
