EXCEL Vocational Program

The UAA @ EXCEL @ BSU (EXCEL Vocational) is a collaborative program with a local training site and a national partner the Uniquely Abled Project that provides students with hands-on, career and technical Education. The EXCEL Vocational program provides the individualized supports students need to access career and technical education combined with a college experience to successfully transition to a sustainable adult life. The goal is for the UAA@EXCEL@BSU program to help students gain the confidence and tools needed to prepare them for paid competitive employment in a technical field such as manufacturing. This private pay program is designed for students 18+ who may or may not have earned a high school diploma. EXCEL Vocational students may commute to campus or live on campus in BSU residence halls.
